Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Research topics fall
within the scope of the specialization in data science. Indicatively,
these may include deep learning and manifold fitting.
The position will be in the Department of
Statistics and Data Science or jointly with the YMSC Tsinghua and
Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences
(SIMIS).

Candidates for this Research Fellow position
should hold a PhD in Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.

PhD Position
Applications are invited for a PhD position in
statistics/data science at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Research topics fall
within the scope of the specialization in "Limits of Deep Neural
Networks for Deep Learning Training with Application to Large Sensing
Data" funded by NUS
Industry-Relevant PhD Scholarship (NUS-IRP). Indicatively, these may include deep learning, machine learning,
and statistical inverse problems with applications to large sensing data.
The position is a position in the Department of Statistics
and Data Science. The candidate is
expected to collaborate with Global Signal Processing Center of
Excellence (CoE), Halliburton.
Candidates for this PhD position should
preferably hold a degree in mathematics and/or statistics, or in
engineering with a solid mathematical background.
